Mr. Shib is a singer songwriter, composer and executive producer of English language songs (originals).

Mr. Shib is a registered independent musician/vocalist with Indian Music Industries, Mumbai to publish and release his songs internationally under Publishers and Record Labels. He is also registered with BMI,USA a performing rights organization. Though by profession he is an Assistant Professor of English and Head of the Department (HoD) of Humanities & Social Sciences at GKCIET, Malda (a technical institute under Ministry of Education, New Delhi, Govt. of India), where he has been teaching since 2012. Mr. Shib has been awarded Bachelor’s Degree in English Honors and Master’s Degree in English by IGNOU, Central University, New Delhi, India in 2005 and 2008 respectively. He did his English Language Teachers’ Training summer school course from Exeter College, University of Oxford, England in 2013,a Summer School course on Ethnomusicology from Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic in 2018 also did an internship in 2011 under International Rural Youth Development program, Hersching, Munich under the Federal Ministry for Food and Agriculture, Bonn,Germany. He has carried out his Ph.D.’s ethnographic field work in Budapest, Rome, Vienna, Prague, Birmingham, London, Cork, Dublin, Limerick and Cardiff. He has presented one of his research papers in EUPOP2019 conference at Mary Immaculate College, University of Limerick, Ireland in July 2019. Mr. Shib was selected to represent his own music and PhD related paper at international conference “Innovation in Music 2019” held at University of West London from 5-8 December 2019 in association with London College of Music. He has been working since last 5 years for his debut album of English Language songs which are mixed at “Circle Studios” Birmingham’s Grammy-winning world class analogue music recording and mixing studio by Grammy winning chief engineer and British actor Mr. Trevor Gibson. Zac Zikis of “Zikkis Mastering” is mastering engineer of these songs/album. Mr. Chayan Chokroborty of Kolkata and Abhinava Mukherjee of Mumbai, India are the producers (track arrangements) and lead guitarists of Mr. Shib’s English Language songs which are due to be published worldwide from London in 2021 by Integrity Publishing, UK. Shib has remained scholar of western contemporary vocal section since 2016 to 2020 at Calcutta School of Music, Kolkata, India.

On 19th July , one of his singles “I Am Virus” has been released globally by Tunecore and CDBaby on digital platforms. The song is based on pandemic and global humanitarian crisis. Shib has tried to create anthropomorphic theme in this song and has given a great message towards the civilization that how to get rid of this deadly corona virus.This song is produced by Mr. Steve Robin and recorded at “The Barn” Recording studio, Brisbane, Australia. Other four singles have been distributed worlwide on digital platforms by TuneCore and CDBaby, USA.

Shib has been in the verge of completion of his Ph. D. under the department of English of Techno India University, Kolkata, India. And his specialisation is 21st century Angola – American women and their pop songs. Shib is also a member of The International Association for the Study of Popular Music, voting Member of Royal Music Association, Manchester, United Kingdom and European Popular Culture Association ( EPCA) which is affiliated with the Popular Culture Association/American Culture Association (PCA/ACA, USA) and the International Institute for Popular Culture (IIPC, Finland).He is also a member of International Singer Songwriter Association, USA.
